A special meeting for me today with Tony Wright Huntsman of the Exmoor Foxhounds. Tony was closely associated with the late Capt. (Wallace) who was instrumental throughout his hunting career and in Tony’s words he sums it up as being “magical times” and “been lucky in many ways” – I think the hounds in his care are the luckiest hounds in the land, his knowledge, his gentle demeanor and the bond between Foxhound and Huntsman is indeed a joy to see. What a lift to the day in the pouring rain on Exmoor.
