“There is nought so queer as women and scent” (Rather partial to Jo Malone myself) Much has been discussed on the subject, John Jorrocks says “take not your hounds out on a very windy day! Scent is a vapour and the wind blows it hither and thither.” There are no bad days in hunting – “Simon” ……………….. just some are better than others! (Maybe I’ll try not to visit in January!) And its always good to meet hunting friends. These hounds are a credit to their Huntsman.
