Having had a leisurely day in Norfolk – I want to say “Normal for Norfolk” – bringing to mind the familiar documentary series of eccentric gentleman farmer Desmond MacCarthy for those that may be familiar with the television programme. I count my blessings for the wonderful places I find myself in due mostly to my hunting friends and contacts. Today was one of those occasions – and at lunch I sat with a former fashion photographer who brushed shoulders with David Bailey, went on to have a cuppa with Huntsman of the local Harrier pack, and rounded the day off with a former Joint Master of a beagle pack and ended up in her local pub that serves excellent Thai food – It’s “Normal for Norfolk”.
